Question My p900 wont startup..

hey guys...

im new to this forum and was wondering if anyone knows whats wrong with my p900.

i downloaded a theme from the internet and was installing it on the phone, after i had installed it....the welcome screen appeared. At first i thought the phone was rebooting....but then i realized that the welcome wasnt going away....

i have rebooted the phone several times.....but it doesnt get past the welcome greeting...

i think the theme must have had a virus of some sort....

i have heard that flashing the phone would make it go back to normal....but im not sure how to do that...

has any1 else had this problem...if so have u got any sugguestions

help much appreciated

thanks

Shoaib

Send a message via ICQ to commedecargons Send a message via MSN to commedecargons
charged up ur phone fully, put it in the syncstation and log on to SE's site then try installing new firmware, i'm not sure whether this will work with ur phone in this situation but the service actually reflashes ur phone.

Haha... I Am Using P910i, I Think No Much Different Than P900 In This Case... Mine Happend After I Replaced Some Files Into My Phone Memory (I Did A Mistake Actually, I Was Suppose To Replace It Into My Memory Card).... My Phone Cannot Boot Up After I Restarted It... It Hangs At The Sony Ericsson Welcome Screen..
I Solve This Problem By Reflashing That Phone...
It Can Be Done Online, Just Follow "commendecargons"'s Way....
But U Must Remember, After You Reflash, U Will Lost All Ur Contacts And Stuff, However, Data Inside Your Memory Card Will Still Remain.. The Flash Process Only "Format" Your Phone Memory And Not Your Memory Card....
