The Remote Unlocking Thread !

Howeya,

Remote unlocking has now become the most common way to unlock your Phone. This is because it is so simple and no data cables are required at all!

All you need to do is type a specially calculated code into the phone! It's that simple!

How does remote unlocking work?

You will need to know the following:

1)The model of your handset (ie Nokia 7210),
2)The handset's specific serial number (IMEI number - 15 digits long)(press *#06#)
3)Which network the handset is locked to !
4)Which country is the handset locked to !

IT IS VERY EASY TO UNLOCK YOUR PHONE USING UNLOCK CODES, IN FACT THIS IS HOW THE NETWORKS THEMSELVES UNLOCK HANDSETS!

NOTE: If the code does not work properly the first time (and you are 100% sure you enterd it correctly) - DO NOT re-enter the same code!!!!

Please post your results.

I assume absolutely NO responsibility if anything goes amiss.

Ok here goes.................................

The code will only unlock the first version(s) of D500, but not newer versions.

D500 Unlock Clip Not bad for £25, could sell it on ebay after or offer an unlock service and make your money bad. Might get one seeing that it's the only way to unlock the 2005 D500s
