It should be hitting stores soon - I would say maybe in a few months, or even earlier.

6600 - when?

This my friends is a million dollar question. I mean, there are so many different rumors out there I don't know what to think anymore. Some say it will be available soon, others say not before Christmas. Nokia officially says 4th quarter. So who knows.

I do hope that it's sooner rather than later.

the 6600 can be an interesting entry into the competitive smartphone arena, but unlike the treo 600 with a keyboard on the samsung i500(both version) that have grafitti, how does one really utilize email? external keyboard?

Tegic T9 and Multi-tap, like other non-UIQ Series60 phones.

Which may be fine, since it doesn't have a circular keypad.

Try as I might, I'm still lightspeeds faster on a standard 10key.

I work for Orange UK and can tell you we currently have it on review, wait about 3 months to see it in our stores.
