a little question about p910i

is the casing well built?? i have some problem with my p800. the problem is on the point where you close your keypad. it seems, that side of the body tends to scracth easily even the paint fall off. then the keypad (on the top, both sides) breaks easily (usually only one side).
then the problem in p900. also in the same side of the body. that part breaks. (this happened to my friend).
does this problem occurs on p910?

BTW, after u bought one, let me know if u need softwares, today i just saw one of the by passers of my roadshow(which i'm working) helding a P900, i talked to him and made him gave me his email and i just sended around 200MBs worth of software to him. You want? They're all "License Free" and "Legal" ofcourse.......... hahaha!

sorry...i should be more active here...exams are coming up~ I'm one of the P910i user on this forum too! I cannot really answer your question...since the casing of P900/P910 are kinda different compared to your P800. Only me (P910) and my friend (P900) have this phone. No one around me has P800. But P9xx are well-built I believe...P910i's flip is even better!

congrats on your job i'm going to buy one in a short term while considering which to choose either p900 or p910. but the p910 is still to expensive I think i'll wait a little while. I will pm u my email and wait for the software. thx

thx eiso and traunuoc. btw i found out that the keypad in the p910 is wider than the p900. and why is the keypad in p910 better than the keypad in p900. is it easier to open? or is it easier to write sms?

The keypad had better tactile feedback, better lighting, better built quality. But one drawback, u couldn't do blind messaging nor dialing. Oh ya, the thumbpad was SOOOO HANDY !! why? dat day i was in a bumpy van and was tryin to record something, i couldn't write with stylus right? haha....... dats where the keypad jumps in. But IMO, the P910 is not worththe extra over the current price of P900.

so u think that the 252k screen, better ram, support msd pro doesn't worth the price? and i 've been watching carefully the keypad design in both phone. and i think p910 has better keypad that it will not hurt ur casing as in p900. btw why can't u do blind messaging? is it because there's no room between the number?

yes definitely. But it's just dat cos i had big fingers.... maybe u could. Some of my friend can do it as well. Well....... if u're ready to prepare this kinda sum of money...... ok; u can go for the P910 as well..... Dat would be best maybe. And BTW, P910 is just not for those who owned a P900, but for first time Pseries users..... it's ok i guess.

1. 262k screen doesn't improve much visually, but the stronger backlight does
2. Adjustable backlight highly usefull. I only use about 10% of brightness
3. 1GB is only available if u're willing to pay a hefty 2/3 of the price of P910
4. Better RAM is also kinda usefull for example i couldn't do so much with the original 16MB + ext 32MB from P900.... i did more now with the 64MB + ext 32MB from P910...

In the end... as a first time user..... i would say taking the P910 is also a wise choice.
