Talking samsung SGH-E300 successful network unlock

samsung sgh-e300 successful network unlock

samsung sgh-e300 successful code unlock and the sgh-e600 so ive been told

Ok guys hope this is gonna help a few of you out
I was browsing through the samsung forum and came across a post from coadyj
Re: samsung unlocking

these instrucions below i pasted from his post this is not my work

<<<<<<
1. Type *#06# on your phone and write down your IMEI (you'll need it
later) or get it from the back of your phone.
2. Put a simcard from another provider and power on your phone
3. At the "wrong card" message type: *2767*688YOURIMEI, for
example: *2767*68835363900065487#
(imei is 14 digits ignore the 3 digits after the slash "/")
4. Your phone will reboot and then your simcard from other provider will
work

--this 4 steps is for a temporary unlocking, when you power of your
phone
it'll be locked again, to permanently unlock it continue to step 5--
5. After your phone has rebooted on step 4, dont press any key or do
anything,
just type this: *0141# and hit the send button
6. A message will appear telling you that your phone is personalized
7. Shut off the phone and enter the SIM of yet another carrier.
8. At the "Enter SIM lock password" screen, enter eight zeros as in
00000000.
9. YOUR PHONE IS NOW UNLOCKED >>>>>>>>>>>>>

Ok i decided to try this on my new samsung e300 on orange i have tried all the other network cards as you do

but they were all locked out obviously

so i went from step 1 to step 4 and all happend as above then i decided not to turn the phone off to see if it

was only temporary unlocked i carried on and went to step 5
typed in *0141# and hit the send button
the phone said personalised
So i turned it off and back on with an o2 card it said enter password so i typed in the 8 zero's and it said

wrong card
so i then put the original orange sim back in and it asked for the password so i enterd the 8 zero's and again

it said wrong card ?
So i put a tmobile sim in as it shares the same network as virgin it booted up and asked for the password i

enterd 8 zeros and it logged on to tmobile
but every time you turned the phone off and back on you had to enter the 8 zeros in again to get it back on to

tmobile

Anyways i put the virgin sim back in and it boots up every time and loggs on to virgin without any problems

and the phone functions fully

So im guessing that you need to do the above steps that coadyj posted with the sim card in that you want to

unlock maybee ?????and personalize the phone with the desired sim card in

Anyways i hope this makes some sense and helps a few of you out i will leave the rest of the messing and

testing to the techie guys on here :-) lol
But this has worked 100% for me and im now enjoying full uninterupted service on virgin instead or orange
The phone was bought from the link in the uk and was locked to orange just incase anyone was wondering

Let us know if it works for you ?????

Jay

I wanted to try unlocking the A300 as you suggsted. I put in a Orange SIM (It was working with dutchstone before) and I did not need to unlock !

However it asked a pincodewhich unfortunatly I do not remember. Also I have no PUK code. Can anyone please help me to go around this PINcode.

Thanx in advance.........

Hi, I tired the steps you first put up to unlock my phone from Orange to a Swedish network (Comviq). It seemed to work initially but seems to have barred any phone call, I tried going to cancel all barrings, it asks for my password which I put in but says that it is unsuppported? Can somebody shine some light on what i need to do to get the phone working.

cheers

Hey all, I followed the instructions and unlocked my E300 to O2 but I also want to use my Orange, but when I put that in and put the code 00000000 in, it says wrong card. So to get past this every time I switch the phone on with the orange sim, I have to use the unlock guide to unlock it back to orange. Is there any way past this so I don't have to keep doing this?

Thanks

- Limetree.
