help!

how do i get stuff my the computer to my phone, a siemens c62- whenever i try it says that it cannot find it! it is plugged into a data cable

oh - im on XP and when i look through device manager, it says

"Windows cannot determine the settings for this device. Consult the documentation that came with this device and use the Resource tab to set the configuration. (Code 34)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."

what can i do?
