The S65 has two "address books". The first is the Address book and the second is the phone book. The Address book stores all kinds of contact info such as email addresses, birthdays, etc. The phone book just stores phone numbers and I believe is one number per name. The phone book is stored on the sim card and the address book is stored in teh phone memory.
So my guess is that the S65 will read your contacts as the phone book. Not sure if you can then transfer them into the address book. Also if you previous phone supported multiple numbers for each contact not sure what the S65 phonebook will do with it. |

When you insert your SIM card into any Siemens phone with an addressbook, such as the S65, it will immediately promt you to copy all your SIM contacts into the phone's addressbook. Select 'OK' and they will all be transferred to the addressbook, and you can add more information to each contact later.
If you select 'No', you can just access your contacts under 'Phonebook', and all previous info under each contact should remain. |
