For all you Pxxx owners - what do you want to see on the P1000?

I have had a P900 and now a P910i - I love them.

However, they are not perfect! What would you like to see on the new model?

Better Cam? Absurd amount of on-board memory? Wi-Fi? VGA quality screen?

definitly the first thing would be a better cam (1.3 MP or higher) ,next lots of memory on-board but I want to see how se is gonna use their imagination & surprise everyone,its been a long time since i haven`t had an adrenaline attack.

Are you happy with the current form factor? Or do you think they should change it - Clie UX50/MPX style?

yupe, i wan it in a clie UX50 form factor with excellant loudspeakers.... almost to the extend where it could be compared to a mini radio(nice one ofcourse) and ofcourse a (1.3MP? neh~ 2.0MP) please?! other than that i guess it's already a damn fine handset oh ya... maybe wifi as well

the main point i'm gonna said is that i would truly wish se to refined that piece of jewel, i mean Pxxs were convergence devices... therefore in comparison to real working ones, there's been alot of compromises in (HOW GOOD) they're doing rather than (WHAT IT HAS) quit the ever increasing memory increase to...... or screen resolution increased to...... or colours increase to 512k screen bla bla bla,,.. these are all bull**** marketing gimmicks. we want a 2.0 or even 1.3 that performs like a early Canon or Olympus, Fujifilm 1.3MP.. or 2.0MP those takes very good images. And battery life, do . please increase it. other than that, i would love to see the inclusiveness of a full functional PIM software Sync software rather than a bridge to outlook; i mean one that's compatibla with outlook(which screws users off) and one thats fully integrated with the phone itself (something like Palm Desktop) and also i would like to see the support for various formats of audio and video files.

All in all, i want a more refined, finished one rather than one that doubles in screen res or color depth every 1 yr.....

Very true! I think that they would be 'pushing it' if they gave us another 'update' rather than a whole new product. I think that if the MPx is popular, then they will be FORCED to do something radical (same as the P800 was when it was released).

I have a Sony DSCP51 (2.1 MP) if they could get a cam as good as that into a phone then I would be more than happy.

The UX50 layout is a MUST with a full qwerty keyboard (that is useable!) and wi-fi. In effect, if they could squeeze a phone and decent cam into the UX50 then I would be happy (I think it would need an external display though)

A proper MP3 player, with a wired-remote control with play/pause/Previous/Next/Volume/(maybe LCD display) buttons.
And a Compact Flash slot

The phone is so expensive ,dont think they can add features like megapixel cam or wifi.

I agree with you on the remote augustus - I intended to replace my ipod with me p910i but its a pain to use. Sony obviously have the experience, the LCD stick remote on their MD players would be ideal...

As for expense/new technology, prices will, and always do fall. Look at colour screens for instance...

3G support is a given.....

screw WiFi, i want 3G(unless we can have both). also a 2MP cam(atleast), keyboard with larger buttons(keep the same flap size), a better space bar button, the current one only has a sensativity on some parts of the button, hitting the sides doesnt always execute spacebar.

also, i much prefer to have a dpad/joystick to navigate rather than a stupid jog wheel.
