How to connect bluetooth and computer?

plugged the dongle into my USB port, asked to install stuff, but nothing came with the dongle. what do i need to do to get them to work with one another and be able to share files?

obviously you need software. if the dongle didn't come with a cd, you should be able to get the software online. without the software (or drivers), you're going nowhere. type the makers name into google. that might help you find the makers site and then the s/w for d/l. this knowledge, for many, is somewhat obvious (in case ur wondering why u might not have had a reply yet)

uh-oh. lol, naj should be ok. i got it off e-bay and i checked the auction again. clearly says i should have a driver CD. so sent them a e-mail. i better get one sent to me! lol

right, instead of the CD got a link to download drivers. got them and seems to have worked. but when i try to connect using my phone the my computer it asks me for a pass key.. where or how do i get it? as i dont know it

um... try the dongle itself... it should be printed there. if not... try the website again... if not there also... I don't know!

not got the website, the link was straight to a download not a website. and the dongle doesnt have anything on it. I can send files to my PC but cant send files from my pc. can somone please help??? or tell me how to find my passkey?

Well my dongle is a bluetake BT009 Poke 2, the passkey thing for me wasn't preset, but whenever I wanted to pair my phone to my PC I used to the software provided to search for my phone, it found it, I clicked it, the for the passkey i jus entered a 4 digit pin, then a screen popped up on my phone (T610) asking wether I wanted to add my PC to it's my devices list, I clicked yes, then I had to enter the pin that I had made up and entered on my PC, then voila, my phone and PC were paired.

what mikeUK said works just fine with my t68i also... it doesn't have a predefined BT PIN...
