do you think the S is making more choices then the E? and why (not)?

Well, the way I see it:

Sony was always the style-factor, all their phones have silver and soft edges
Ericsson has been business-orientated, functional (even with the other attempts like the A2618 and T68, you could still feel it).

I think you have a good joint-venture here, only thing I don't like with SE products is the use of non-standard memory media (Memory Stick Duo in this case).

i only like a few of the old ericsson designs (T68, T65, R520)... out of the new sony ericsson i would say that k700, t630, t68i and p900/p910 appeal most to my liking...

Yeh, thats the major reason im a bit wary of getting the s700. Is it possible to get a mmc adapter for memory stick duo?

highly doubt it. its a whole different shape. and its more hardware involved... MSDs and MSDPs are so expensive its insane..and only recently with the p910 have they introduced the MSDP in phones... even the s700 doesnt have it...what bs..

ericsson form factors were never too style/design oriented (but had great engineering) - sony with their experience in consumer elecrtonics has brought a lot to the design of the handsets - imho
