k700i firmware in New York

Can anyone tell me how to get the r2l firmware for the k700i. I contacted SE yesterday and they told me I would have to set up a "repair" order and send it to North Carolina for 10 business days and he was not sure what if any firmware update they would do. I saw one website in California that said they would do it for $25, but again I don't want to ship a 2 day old phone across the country for a week. Does anyone know of a place in the New York metro area that can do the upgrade or know of a place I can download it from.
