SMens SL55

I am looking for a new phone.

the SL55 should fit the bill, not only that but it is small and looks good.

however i have heard a lot about it dropping calls loosing data etc, etc all software related.

is it worth me getting this phone?

have all the problems been ironed out with the newer versions of the software?

thanks in advance for any replies

nope.
better wait for the SL65.

most problems with the SL55 are the buttons and some bad feedback when its dropped.

What do you mean by "bad feedback when it's dropped"?

Do you mean when it's physically dropped? What kind of feedback do you get then? Please elaborate.

I've had a quick go with the phone and I don't think that the buttons will be a problem.

the fact is I am not a heavy users of mobile phones, but I have a tendancy to always have it with me. so easy of carrying is important.

But then I don't want to get a phone that doesn't work. So as I see it if the software problems (it dropping calls, freezing and eating messages) are fixed this would be a prime contender for my money.
