Nokia 3600 and SonyEricsson HBH-60??
Does anyone know if the SonyEricsson HBH-60 will work with a Nokia 3600? If not, should the revised HBH-65 fix this?
Thanks, TB |

It should work, since Bluetooth is a universal standard.

You forget that we are talking about Nokia here. The last time I used a 3650 (firmware v3.50, belonging to Howard Chui), it could not connect to my HBH-60. Later firmware revs supposedly could, though.

Well, Nokia uses a seperate profile for the newer phones.
I bought a BT200 and what do you know it doesn't support Nokia's new profile... there's a firmware upgrade required. So... if anyone wants to buy my BT200 for $70 plus shipping let me know. I don't want to go through the whole hassle of sending it to Jabra. |

Nokia doesn't have their own profiles. They just often don't support the defined profiles properly.
The 3650, in this particular case, does not support the headset profile. It only supports hands free. The jabra units, like many other earlier headsets, only support the headset profile. Newer firmware, as you've learned, also supports hands free.

Get a hbh-35 instead. It works perfectly with my 3650.
