New Siemens phones

It seems that there are only a few Siemens users in this forum.

Do you think the latest models offered by Siemens have better UI? Are they already out in the market (eg: M65, S65 & CX65)?

The M65 looks like Ericsson's version of the R310 and Nokia 5210 while the S65 looks like the Samsung E700 (re: black area surrounding the keypad).

Aside from the crap icon set that marks the menu page in all color handsets, maybe yes. But I just can't digest the former, even if the phones were to offer a decent user interface...

Among the new models, physically, I like the CX65, reminds me of the Nokia 6600 =)

Is the CX65 already out in your place? Is it bigger or smaller than the Nokia 6600? Coz my brother intends to buy the CX65 but it should be small.

The CX65 is much smaller than a 6600.

When I read the specs of the CX65, I'm very disappointed that it doesn't have bluetooth.

I don't understand Siemens' strategy, why not include bluetooth when the phone's got a camera?! It's a similar strategy with Nokia, wherein you get a whole lot of features but then it's only dual band. This is why I like Sony Ericsson, they don't make the consumers disappointed with their products.

Thats because they dont have many products. Nokia has a whole massive range of different phones for different markets and consumers.

My two cents worth is that the new Siemens range is top-notch stuff. They're certainly better specified products that the current Nokia range. As for Sony Ericsson - well, I put them in the same boat as Siemens.. both companies can smell blood and are anxious to take market share.

I guess my view of manufacturers on the way UP is: Motorola, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Sharp and LG and on the way DOWN is Nokia and Panasonic. I'm guessing that Panasonic won't be in the market for much longer.
