Question re: Voyager Outer LCD problem

first time posting so please forgive. I bought the new LG Voyager on 12-03-07 on line. And after 5 weeks of gentle use, (I am a single 40yr old insurance consultant who works from home,) the outer LCD screen developed a round bleed, the same size as my dialing thumb, under the unmared outside touch pad.
Anyway, has any one else expireancd a similar problem? I firmley believe this is a hardware flaw. brian
