LG HBM-730 headset earloop loose - how tighten?

My LG HBM-730 headset earloop is too loose - how can I tighten it?

The earloop wire is too loose where it mounts to the headset. Can it be tightened up? If I tilt my head sideways the headset flops out of my ear. I've tried twisting it, pushing it in deeper, etc.
