All about Full HTML browsing

I've had my eye on the LG Voyager for a bit now and I've read it has a full HTML browser. What exactly does this mean? Is this the kind of browsing similar to the iPhone? I'd like to think so but I find it so hard to believe due to the past internet capabilities of verizon phones. I'd really like some clarification on this subject
