Problems with my benq siemens s88

Hi,
i am a new user here.I have a benq siemens s88 phone. My probs r:

1. If i turn on the power saving mode then my mobile battery support my mobile only for 24 hours. Then charge finished. What is the reason for that?

2. I cant take any applications with my data cable into my mobile. If i take,it will be stored in the section "others" and does not work. If i want to use any application i have to download it from the internet.
