Email from Siemens Mobile

Hi guys, I just received an email from Siemens telling me to check out http://www.siemensmobilelaunch.com on Thursday the 25th of September at 10.00 a.m CET to see the 2 new mobile phones that Siemens will release.

It could be the release of the SX1

Also might be:

-ST55i
-CL55
-C62

I have heard rumours of a qwerty key-padded handset as well.

It could also include the C62.. Here is a pic:

And this is the CL55:

It is highly doubtful that this model will be unveiled, though. Reliable sources at the Club-Siemens forum believe that none of the phones will be high-end.

Anyone actually check that out yet?

I thought it was funny how in the "A60 Room" that they say the 4096 color screen is "the most advanced on the market"...

Not sure exactly which market they are referring to...

The budget market, of course. No other low-budget phone has a colour screen at the moment.

What about the Nokia 3530 and Motorola C350? I thought that those were both classified as "budget" color phones...

Also, given the fact that those phones have both been on the market for close to 1 year already, I think their prices have dropped to the point where they will be competing directly with the new Siemens offerings...

So I still feel that Siemens' choice of words was a little off.

Then again, it's really a minor point; it's not like this is the sort of mistake worth losing sleep over..

Those are a little higher up the price ladder. They compete with the C60.

I see. Well, I stand corrected.
