wap error : connection to server lost

connection to server lost

when i use the wap openwave browser i always get this irritating message: "error: connection to server lost".

This happens if I wait more than 30 seconds before selecting another link. It connects fine after I select "retry". Why is this so? I thought gprs was supposed to be always online.

Also when I tried to look at the gprs setting there was no "always online" setting available like in sonyericsson phones.

Is there a way out? I don't want to see that message and select retry each time.

I have tried increasing the linger time (> 400secs) but with no resullt.
