lg vx8300

i have a branch of alltel wireless (bluegrass) only avaliable through KY and IN and i was wondering if there was and way i could get the VX8300 to work on Alltel Verizon doesnt offer good coverage where i am located.. please help me if you have any suggestoin i currently have the v3c but one of my friends has the vx8300 and i fell in love with the phone
