Problems with new LG Chocolate

hey i got a new LG Chocolate phone yesterday and am having some problems with it and wondered if anyone can help me out. i have 3 main problems:

1. wen i unlock the phone it tends to jump back and forward to the address book by itself, without me touching anything.

2. i cant change the ringtone. every time i see a new ringtone it just goes back to the original when i get a call.

3. it is contsantly searching for signal.

any help would be much appreciated

All that happened on my friends (gsm) chocolate.. they replaced it for him.. some firmware + hardware issues.. probably the same with urs too..

returned my phone today and got a new one only to find that has all the same problems.

terrible phone and now i'm bloody stuck with it!!
