Anyone have any updated information on when the BQ p51 phone will be available (in the US) for purchase as an unlocked phone or from a carrier?

I am a major gadget addict and have had my Treo 650 is nearly two years old...which is like an alcoholic sipping from the same bottle of wine for 2 days. I'm dying to get a new QWERTY phone...
