Can anyone point me in the direction of any mp3 software for my nokia 3600? I have been looking and found one only at Nokia's americas.software.....are there any others...perhaps freeware/shareware? Thanks for your help.

Question 3600 question

I noticed you mentioned the 3600. I am trying the 6340i which is the gsm/tdma/analog model that my local provider offers. I have 14 days to consider phones and the 3600 is one I'm looking at. How does it compare to the 3650? I can't find info on the nokia website about the 3600. Is it bluetooth, etc like the 3650? Any help is appreciated.

Todd

It is basically the same thing as the 3650. Anything you can do with the 3650 can be done with the 3600, except for roaming on non-North American GSM networks.

got an mp3 player for a 3650

It looks like you 3600 phone is a series 60 symbian phone just like the Nokia 3650, but with different operating frequencies for Cingular in the US market (850 and 1900 right?). Anyway, if it is, there are some mp3 players for the phone. I got a mp3 player off a CD of stuff. It is a symbian app so it works well, but the sound from my 3650 speaker is terrible to listen to. The phone is not stereo you know . I haven't tried it with dual earbuds yet. I imagine it will sound like AM radio.

The application points to the following website for the makers:
http://www.vikinggames.hu/
I imagine other players could be found with some google searching..

Now what I am looking for is a clock where I can choose a ringtone for the alarm... or better yet to play an mp3 file. Still looking for that one!
