I read on another forum that the X70 has no Java support. This was stated emphatically by several people.
Can anyone who actually has an X70 confirm one way or the other whether it has Java support? If it does, are there any limits to the games that can be downloaded? Thanks in advance Maasq ![]() |

Nope no java, it has in-fusio for games and as i said in teh other thread they cost £1.50 and you can onyl have one at a time.
But the I-mode version is coming out in some countries soon which will have java and will hopefuly correct all the small faults that people have been moaning about the X70 for.

X70 Java?? What is that?
The X70 does not support Java. Its platform is the well known Ex-En by InFusio & it has 4 embedded games: Astro War, Panko, Roller kid, Crazy cobra. However, its browser supports the cHTML language, so if in your country a provider offers I-mode services, who needs Java?

For all U Panasonic lovers, I've found out disturbing news about the I-mode support of the X70:The X-70 I-Mode with java, will not be the same as a normal phone with J2ME platform support. The applications will have to be in DOJA form and can only be downloaded directly from the operator servers. You won't be able to download jad/jar file 'cause DOJA platform doesn't work like the simple J2ME/Java platform. Where on earth will anyone find available DOJA applets? Only God knows
