Hello, can anyone tell me how to remove the "WAP Mail" envelope icon that appears on top of the screen. It is really annoying & ruins my wallpaper displays.
Thanks in advance. |

Select the left hotkey button, select Multimedia, select Inbox, then read the message from Vodafone.

Say cav,
Do you know why I cannot transfer java games to the handset? The GX20 supports java but everytime I tried to transfer a java game via my PC it comes up as an error |

Could have something to do with the file extension. Are you using the USB data cable or IF?

Cav,
I tried to transfer via IR as well as using the Sharp Handset Manager. Both didnt work. It keeps coming up file error. I am guessing Voda must have added something to the phone software so it blocks out non Voda exclusive file transfers. Any more suggestions? |

I assume you can't, cuz on the manual it specifically says that the light will flash green when you receive a call. I got a GX22S, basically it's a non branded GX22. I thought that these pups came with a game. I was shocked to find that there r none. Does anyone know if I can transfer a game from my PC to the phone? And does anyone know where I can download games for free? |

1. You can't transfer Java applications between PC and phone (Sharp GX-2x).
2. You can find very-very small amount of free games for Sharp GX-2x series. The Sharp hates developers - no support. So there are far less game for Sharp than for Nokia. You also have to know that Java isn't really portable. There are portable aplications that works on "all" devices, but those are usually low quality ones, and they can only use 120x130 resolution (magnified) on GX-2x. You can also find some free fully functional demo for Sharp GX-20, Sharp GX-22 and Nokia. All game playable on-line too. Of course you can buy them ![]() |
