Sendo X

Does anyone know when Sendo X will be available in the U.K. market? It's been a while since they announced it but I can't see any news or future dates.

I've seen on one site (i cant remember which anymore) that it should be out before the end of this year. However i think that might be a bit optimistic!

I took am interested in seeing one, looks like a very nice phone, seems to take care of most of the issues that the 6600 has, except no radio

I agree,it can solve most of the issues 6600 has and that's why I am waiting for it instead of purchasing the Nokia,but having on account this delay and lack of information I'm starting to reconsider and buy it anyway.

As for the radio,I'm sure there will be some kind of software that can solve it.

I really doubt that there could be some software to add a radio to the phone, i'm pretty sure the radio is part of the hardware, but has anyone heard of anything like this being done for another phone, a software add on radio??

No I don't think that has been done on any other phone before as it is hardware specific.

A friend at Sendo said that they shoul dbe showing up in some small markets any day now, if not already.

He works for the competitive analysis department, though, so he isn't directly involved with the shipping of the X.

In any event, it isn't late. They have always been telling me January or February for a launch.

I have heard from Sendo! They expect T-mobile to be the U.S. carrier in late March. Can't wait, hope that it won't be any later and maybe sooner. It may be out sooner without a carrier.
