SE S700i message tone

so ders no way the mp3 tone cud be use as a mesage tone in S700i? how about WAV tones like nokia phones? which the WAV can be use as a mesage tone. what are the mesage tone of s700i? defualts? ow it realy sucks...thnx

Nope, MP3's or WAV files dont work as message tones, u gotta use the 6 pre-installed ones, there not great, but u learn to live with them :D

i tut sony e. got more features than any other brand... so its kinda BORING when u hav an incoming mesage? the hell! are there any sony e. phone that can support WAV or MP3 as a ringtone? cuz im planin to by sony e. phone...now i doubt, so ill chose nokia again... :rolleyes:

The K750i supports custom message tones, im not sure what others do. thats a very good fone!

yah its a nice phone but i like the design of s700i... candy bar is cliche for me...maybe only symbian phones supports WAV & mp3 message tones... :rolleyes:

All recent phones does. S700 too. but assigning ringtones to messages has been a weird compromised features for SE models up till S700. The upcoming ones, K750, S600, Z520 and so on supports this feature. If u like S700's styling, how bout S600? an upcoming model with a 1.3mp cam, EDGE, BT, IR gaming platform (so called~) and its swivel, and more svelte and tinier than S700. :)

doesn't the 6230 and 6230i support mp3 message tones as well?

and I think, all the new series 40's (with the 3rd edition) all support mp3's too.

it doesn't support wav's though. (only the series 60's support this...)

no, the S600 doesnt have expandable memory and its camera is not as good as the S700's
