Spose you could as long as the carrier dosnt have it locked. Wasnt the T|w from AT&T. If so, (and I think they were) I bet you could just call them and say you want it unlocled........ though, my guess is, if someone had a T|w on AT&T before the buyout, and they switched, it shoudl work without it being unlocled. But thats just a mental theory (me being mental) call tech support and make sure you get a KNOWLEDGABLE tech on the phone. Im sure they can help you..

And.. let mw know how the phone is! I always wanted one before the Treo came out. It only works with an ear piece, right?

good luck....anything at and t related seems to have been lost in an abyss after the merger....the blue side of service/tech support has pretty much been phased out....getting a subsidy code for a freakin cingular phone is hard enough let alone the company we just gobbled up....call cingular care...ask for a blue represenative (there are a few still out there i think) and see if they can pull a rabbit out of a hat for ya....

Do you happen to have a phone repair shop you could go to to get it unlocked?

That's surprising! I know of one place that does phone repairs, although I didn't see the Tungsten W on their list of phones...
