I have a calling card that I use for emergencies and whenever I run out of minutes on my cell phone. For me it’s necessary because cell phones run out of batteries, sometimes they get bad reception and occasionally goes on roaming for no particular reason. A calling card works for me, but I also gave my pin number to all my friends and family to use for emergencies only. I doesn’t cost me any extra if people use my pin number all the time, but I gave them my pin number in case they get into a jam. If you’re like me and always like to have a back up plan, get a calling card, I got mine through a company called versatalk.
