New NOKIAS!!!!!

Hey i just got off the phone with a friend of mine, she had gone to some nokia customer clinic, where they were showcasing the new phones they plan to launch in India and taking their feedback as to what they thought about the pre release models shown to them.well my friend isn't all that mobile savvy, but she told me that she was shown 5 phones and from the description i figured out that the 3 of them were the n series basically the n90, 91 and 70 but she also told about two other phones she was shown, which were still not announced as per the nokia representative.
she was shown 2 clamshells
one with a 3mp camera, carl zeiss lens, it had a camera button on the side and she was told it could carry 750 songs. she told me that when the clam was shut it had 3 buttons on the bottom end, for music functions, i presume they must be for play, rewind, etc. She told me that she was also impressed by its size and that it was very sleek. It had greyish silver buttons on the inside but they were not made of metal
and another clamshell which was slightly bigger than the other , in a black and silver combination, and she doesn't remember whether it has a 2 or 3 mp camera, but she said that it had a distinctive design where the bottom seemed to slightly protrude compared to the top
damn i wish i could have been called cause i would have certainly known what to look for and would have all the right questions, to know more about the phone

I think that these two phones would be announced after the current 3 Nseries phones have been released, just like in the case of 6680 announced a few months after 6630 has been released. This is done so that the more feature-packed and more recent phones would not eat into the market of the old phones.

It was a customer clinic. These kind of things happen at a customer clinic, every industry has them.

Of course they should also have been told not to tell anybody and probably signed an agreement not to say anything.

well she is getting pretty irritated with all my questioning and has warned me that she will not talk to me if i ask any more phone related questions ( damn these women they never understand) anyways i am pretty excited about the smaller clamshell with the 3MP and 750 MP3s damn i wish i had seen them

not much sadly though she did say that the 1st clam had rubber(or whatever) buttons but not like the cheap quality ones you find on the lower models like the 1100 or something but yeah thats what she said

mmm... so if the N90 will come out this 3Q, and nokia wouln't announce this till after the N90 had been released, then this means that this new 3mp clamshell will probably see daylight either on christmas time or the first few months of 2006.

maybe nokia is intentionally delaying it... because of the rumors that the p1000 will also have a 2mp cam, or even greater? Maybe they want to time it just right to release it - so that SE will have an immediate rival.

If this new clamshell is smaller than the N90, I will definitely get it...honestly, I think the size & weight would get to me:rolleyes:

It would be smart to delay the phone, because honestly that's just stupid to release the successor just like days after the other's released:cool:
