im havin trouble in deciding wot fone to get out of the two i was set in gettin the nokia n90 when it comes out but now im starting to like the sony ericson k750i can u plz help me indeciding wot fone i should get out of the 2 plz

they're utterly different, so it's a "what do you want from your phone" moment here. for an everyday, everyman's phone it's the k750 every time, and that's how i've voted above. added bonus is you can go out and get one right now. the n90 is a behemoth of a flip-smartphone, does a different set of stuff and has a real ground-breakingly high-res screen for a nokia...
cams the jury is still out on, if the n90 has an advantage it isn't huge; on the other hand if you open the flip up the its large enough to work as an emergency replacement for tower bridge (not quite, but it's big :D )
so whadya want from a phone.

what do you need more? and what is the main thing youre aiming for in both these phones? cause both phones have hteir pros and cons.

The Nokia N90 is not out yet so it's hard to know in general how the phone will behave.
Specs on paper don't mean anything, as we've all learned with the Nokia 6260, Siemens S65, or Nokia 7710.
PS. Current reviews on the internet don't mean a thing because they are using preproduction models, which will be vastly improved/modified by the launch.

I have a good hands on with the N90 and not let the K750i out of my sight. For the Nokia loving pessamists wait and see which one will adorn more pockets.... SE first mega release since the T68i withh MCA20, Nokia had better start trying to catch up.. !

granted that both of these phones takes good pictures..... you should now focus on what you really need from a phone. Does size matter to you? Does speed matter to you? Do you have a need for a smartphone? Are you on a tight budget? Does looks matter? Would you put emphasis on a phone's "wow" factor? Do you use EDGE or 3G?
the answers to those questions will ultimate decide which phone you'll likely be gettin.

No Nokia loving pessamists - you can almost feel Nokia'ites trembling on what cack rushed out phones will be launched tommorow...gotta love Nokia 40+ handsets last year and only 6-7 were worth touching....

get the SE750 if u r plannin to get a phone within 3-4 months. the n90 aint showing before that.

well, K750 is a dumb phone, but portability matters too. It's like..... after you've bought a N90..... you might wanna consider getting a K750 after 6 months or so..... as a 2nd phone.... :) by the way.. (it's so cheap !)

Has commedecrgons even used the K750i ? or felt the bulk and impraticality of the N90. Each to their own I spose....Love my Nokias but SE are onto a winner - at last...

thats true.. cant really say about the bulkiness and build of a phone till you have it in your hand. ive had niether so im having a hard time deciding which one to get

yeah, stay away.. honestly the top half of it was stuck onto the phone by 1 thin metal stick that went in the middle of hte phone to the other part of the phone so it could spin around and you could see the pathetic spring keeping it from falling off...

bought for 1.1kAUS(after i got taxed unknowingly) sold for 600.. sigh, heart pain, but i got a bit of extra money from something i sold earlier so its not that bad, plus im working. so its ok

Shaheen - I have used both of these devices in various environments. The N90 is excellent as is the K750i but the only plausible reason for waiting for the N90 is for thw clear 20X optical zoom (little pixelation) but when the video res is nearly the same as a device half the price that is currently availiable little reason when both offer comparable image quality....
As for the Xcute - h'ok device give them a few product runs to gain build reputation and they should shake up smaller manuafcturers....

Just get what is coming out now and that the K75i. Its obvious its popular, heck with all the jerking off to it here, its a very good handset and i dont see why not to.
Once the N90 comes out, take it for a test drive and if its worthy, sell off the K750i for it and if not, keep the lil SE marvel feather in cap. Simple as fries. ^_^

Its always a risk mate, you just have to decide if its worth it and it depends on where you sell. Take some aspirins and swallow hard, it will be fine.

indeed digital - my apologies indeed.....money on you'll hate the N90 like a 6260 (such a crap phone) on steroids with a big backpack for a camera...make your choice I'll sit happy with my K750i - or shall I use my 8800 such a dilema...

anyway~ i read the news shaheen quoted... :some manufacturer's already coming out with touch screen smart phones with 3 megapixels ?!? ...... hhmmm..... sounds suspiciously like the next tasty P-Series~~ oh my oh my~ i better save up~~
