I'm sure there is, is it branded ?

Yes, but it would have to be flashed with a special file to remove the camera sound.

How can i tell if it's branded? Brought it from HK. Doesn't show any brand except for SE when loading.
Where can i get the file for the camera sound?

if yuo got it from hong kong, the camera sound should go off when the phone is in silent mode.

Yes, this is a security/privacy issue. SE do this on purpose so if you take someones photo they here the sound of the camera.
There are ppl out there who are having their privacy rights invaded by ppl with camera phones taking their photo without consent.

well I don't mind the click.. the main problem is that when people hear the click, they think the picture is taken already. With the k750i, there is like a slight delay in saving the picture. It's like a 1-2 second delay sometimes from the sound of the click, so the picture comes out blurred when they move.
Also does anyone knew where i can download games and themes for free for the K750i?

umm... have you tried using another profile, not the 'silent', then putting the volume down to zero? Im guessing... that maybe if it wont be silent on the silent mode, maybe it will be silent on another mode?

i dont think the phones should be made to be able to shut off the camera sound. wats so bad about letting people know if u'r takin pics? provided u dowan others to know those pics are voyeurish....
by the way, my P910 could take off the 'click' ~~ :D (but images were too blurred to be able to take voyeur pics --- which mostly were not in optimum picture taking, lightning conditions.. :D)

yeah? so what about it?
sometimes, taking a picture doesn't have to involve invading one's "privacy", you think people are the ONLY subjects worth taking a candid photo of?? You think "voyeurism" are the ONLY reasons in the world to take the clicking sound off??
just coz someone wants to take a photo in "silence" does not automatically mean that he wants to be a voyeur! Try not to be so narrow-minded guys, ok?
cheers!

yes sony ericsson should let people take pics without the farting clicking sound
otherwise how am I(a voyeur picture taking champ) gonna be able to take more voyeur pics
its enough that I had alot of probs taking voyeur pics with k700
I thought that upgrading to the k750 will finally solve my problem
but it seems like the son has copied alot of it's traits from it's dad :(

I wasn't really asking a question... I was just trying to help him take out the "click" sound on his phone, since he said that putting it on 'silent' doesn't seem to work.
I turned silent mode on, but it still clicks.
Anyway, maybe he's found a solution by now.

pfft it's a moot point anyway, real voyeurs nowadays make movies and unless they're gonna put a honking horn every three seconds during movie recording it will not stop any privacy invasion thing.
The camera sound should be part of the sound of the rest of the phone, if I want it off it should be off.
Besides, MadCool is right, there is a delay, hearing the shutter means you have to keep it steady for another 2 seconds which is completely wrong IMO
And no I've not found how to turn it off on mine either, my 7mp P150 is much better for voyeurism anyway ... :p :) :D.

is it at all possible to copy applications off my pc and stick them on the phone, so i can use them? at the moment, they can't be saved in the right place so the phone doesn't think theyre applications. and how do i know if the phone is compatible with the application?
