Howdy again,
just heard about a SE phone called Hermione, haven't got much info yet other than it's a symbian device (presumably UIQ) and it's 3G. and it's due roughly october.
sorry if you already know, but i couldn't find any reference to it here yet.
got the info from the orange product roadmap, same as the motos, Tarazed, Bintan and Pictor (see the thread in the moto section)
no pics yet, unlike the motos

well, there's definitely something on its way.
i realy like the p-series form factor so i'm glad they're expanding the line.
after all, it's really small, like only as big as a closed N90! lol :D

there's no way anyone will use male codenames; it's female names, mythical stuff (ancient gods etc) animals, cosmological stuff (pulsar, quazar, nabula etc) then tiny stuff (neutrino, photon etc) way, way before it looks like a good idea to use male names.
the SE Dave?
Nokia Fred?
Motorola Steve?
come on, they sound crap

lol. but i honestly dont care anymore, the zoe ellen business pissed me off, we got such a low end device after speculating so much

yeah, anything could be anything, that's kinda the point with codenames, the people at SE or wherever know what they mean. if they were talking about the plans for the "P1000" or the "S800" we'd be getting pretty excited, so they'll call them codename dwayne or operation muddy puddle or whatever
meanwhile there could be loads of impressive names for another device, "ZEUS," "BEELZEBUB," etc, and it turns out to be a minor OS tweak on the T290

yes, in english if you use a gender for a material thing it is almost always female.
not so in french/german, with clearly defined le/la and der/die/das gender assingment to different objects.
french and german are crazy languages, though.

each language had their own emphasis on something, for example, german and french, like u mentioned, emphasizes on gender based. English for example, TIME MATTERS. past present tense bla bla bla~~ maybe to others, can be regarded as crazy as well~ well for example in chinese, a word must be pronounced the way it is, slightly change the tone, and it's another word. And chinese words had absolute, definitive meanings, not like english, you have to see which sentence that word is put into, in order to understand its meanings. I milk the cow..... wats that?!?! funny right? and english is a bit weird, words that appear absolutely correct, gramatically, might not be found inside an oxford dictionary..... but when used, it's 100% grammatically correct...
