I have e-mailed motorola three times now and as yet there was still no definite release date for the much coveted v600 although they did tell me in an earlier e-mail that it was expected before xmas! I have been waiting for what seems like years for it! I was told by an orange shop that they wouldn't be stocking it so leads me to believe that there may be some problems with it as I understand they were keen originally but they are using the v 500 instead. I suppose we shall just have to wait and see?

according to this catalogue i just got off a o2 salesperson its out now for £129.99 on pay as u go. :)

Sorry to break your bubble, but you're not going to get a V600 for £129 on PaG with o2. That's more like the contract price.

Also it's not yet in stock - if it was I'd have had mine by now as it's on backorder. Latest date O2 have is 01/12 but this is slipping inexorably backwards.

i found out that it is £129 for the gold 02 contract where you get a free upgrade every 6 months for 3 years, im still not sure of the normal monthly contract costs. ill find out soon though.

The gold upgrade scheme is for people who upgrade every six months.

The deal is, if you spend over £50 a month on a contract or Pay and Go, you get the chance to upgrade every six months so it's a good deal in theory if you're a high spender.

Normal price on contract is going to be £129 too.

Get yourself a z600 instead, I've got one here that I have played with and I've fallen in love with it.

i would get a z600 but my pockets arent big enough, and the v600 can also playback video and sound, and is smaller, and did i mention the z600 is bigger.
