im leaning towards the DV1 but michaels review is leaving me feeling icky a bit.

price isnt an issue, i managed to get a good extra bonus of about 1.3k from a source i cant say of, so i got money.

doubt there are other phones that stack up to the 902 or DV1s camera power. the k750i is dwarfed in the presence of these 2 phones.

well compared to the 902 and xcute its missing either 1 more mp, 2x optical zoom, 30fps at 640x480 video recording, ability ot connect to tv and watch your videos from the phone itself, bigger screen and better quality. and even compared to the 902 the n90 is much bigger.

anyway this isnt a n90 appreciation thread. just need help on wat to choose

hhmm.... well~ forget the DV-1. I've already predicted it would fail in many ways, functions where normally large manufacturers would excel. such as SMSs? anyway, i dun like taiwan products. except HTC, and all those motherboards..... rams..:D

Do you need 3G? i guess not if u are pitching 902 against K750 and the DV-1. Well, if that's so~ apart from the excellency of SHARP screens, and the fact that it had a larger screen, i had no objection of you getting the K750. and i do think that the K750 looked alot better than the 902

Limited as in limited availability, like not many people around you will have it...that also comes at a disadvantage though cause then you won't get as great a selection of accessories and tech support even...

Now that I think about it, go for the Sharp 902...looks a little weird but certainly not as weird as the Xcute. The placement of the external screen's a little unusual, but nothing too out of the ordinary. Plus what commedecargons said, Sharp has SHARP screens:p Plus, it's already 3G-capable and so you're set...:D Just make sure you don't get the Vodafone version

nah, i can get it. its on ebay.com.au for a reasonable price for its features. k750i is cheap but a 1gb mspd together is equal to the xcute dv1 with a 1gb mini-SD card.. so might as well eliminate k750. arg i hate waiting.. my next pay is in 2 weeks and i got 770 bux, need 825... shiiiiiit..

Like you said though, the K750 is gonna be outdone by another phone in the near future. Sure, it's got a great feature set, but you're gonna be bored with its ultra-convservative looks. Go for something with a wow factor, yet has the capabilities to back it up:D

It'd be cool if you got the orange 902...either that or the white one ;)

k700 is a good fone, but i would wait for the Se K750, W800 or the Nokias N series, its the only nokias i like. i feel the same way about the lack of java gmaes, but u can download them off kazzaa.. altho i think this site doesnt like me recomending that. neway i currently have the z800 and i love it, especialy the flas and the overal ightness of it etc..

yea may b if u wanna show off N90 is good coz it can been seen quickly i mean noticed than others.. buti dun think u can use that toy with 1 hand coz its huge u might drop it lik its HOT.. well i will recommend K750 not dv1 coz u dunno how good is the fone is especially its from taiwan so b careful..i dun lik da N series coz N90 huge.. N91 cannot b easily used coz of its buttons.. and N70 too late to come out.. if N70 is out by now i would recommend tat but its late.. so go for K750.. im gonna wait for my next fone.. coz i dun easily upgrade lik others..

i mean yes, in terms of the camera and especially video it's the best. people might argue with that but that's what i reckon.
but that's what proper camcorders are for.....
if i get a phone i want, first and foremost, connectivity. then memory, then a good OS, then build quality, then a good cam. you must be way different to me in what you go for.

having said that i might end up getting a DV-1 cos it's one of those phones you can buy, play around with for a couple of weeks, then sell it on and it's still worth what you paid for it. but it would never become my main phone

well, for me, first and foremost, the phone should look good, then its the specs/connectivity and such. for me, phones with cam like that of N90 plus a 3 to 6x optical zoom is the maximum i'd asked for. i cant imagine what other usage i would need for specs to go beyond that.... :)

They didn't even get the SMS/Phone functions correct.

dunno, screen shots of the main menu looks strange...not a "clean" as it should. Looks kinda jagged like michael said. sceen shots form qvga screens look better...and no T9?!
