*REQUEST* Nokia 3230 Sound Sample [Archive]

I've been looking on this website and forum for over a year now and decided to become a member on the forums :) Just have a quick request, can someone record a Nokia 3230 playing an MP3? I remember someone recorded a sample of the Nokia 6600 a few years back. I am considering buying a Nokia 3230 and would just want to know how the quality of an MP3 file on it is.

MP3 is good even on loudspeaker - bundled rs mmc corrupts the phone though so had to replace at cost.

The 6600 would not plays MP3's in stereo unless an adapter was bought - even with the accessory the 3230 is the superior player - however the 6230i knocks spots of them both !

umm.... both the 6600 and the 3230 is in mono.

If you're after a better mp3 playing phone, which is in stereo, check out the 6630, 6680/81/82 or the 6230/6230i.

The 6600 will work in stereo (split mono) with the headset jack adapter 9 (non-oem only found them on e-bay)

My 3230 plays stereo MP3's no problems - had it for over 3 months now no issues whatsoever...bar the included rsmmc locking the handset up.

As for best music player the 6230i has the best Db rate and 5 point adjustable graphic equaliser scoring top points in a fidelity test...

mmm.... I thought that only the radio of the 3230 was in stereo, now it's the mp3's too?

I think he got confused, maybe he thought that stereo meant sounds coming out of both earpieces.

3230 DOES not play mp3s in stereo, i've heard them

Does it sound THAT bad though? Would dual mono headsets not compensate for it?
