According to Stuff Magazine, in thier latest issue they have the w800 priced at £250 without Contract.

That can't be right, isn't it meant to come with 512MB memory Stick?

At that price it doesn't make sense.

Well tough because SE isn't going to tell YOU until it's out (a little late by then, IMO). But if one has a business background, or COMMON SENSE, one can fairly accurately guesstimate the price. Afterall, the companies do perform market research to price the product and they are aware that certain products sell at a premium (in acquisitions or mergers its called goodwill). The problem is people who put something that is obviously too low out there because they wish that would be the price. For example, you know what a new BMW 3 series will cost based on the old one, right? It is just dreaming to expect a 328 to sell for $18,000 because you wish it would but its not unreasonable to expect a $2000-$4000 increase in price.

Cingular has the SE s710 for $399 w/2yr contract so there is NO way they are going to sell an upgrade for less than that! Hence, I guesstimate the price will be $450 min to $650 max. Especially if they try to play it as two/three separate devices in one. I.E., a standalone camera and MP3 player would be about $150-$200 each and a top phone would be about $250 and there is the premium for the Sony name (yes, Sony still prices at a premium in the USA though that has killed them versus Apple).

my sources tell me itll follow same price pattern as s700, 1200 at first then drop to 850. but on ebay.com.au its for sale for 760aus

The K750 will be availiable at £270 UK GBP - the W800 will be £320-330 UK GBP, and why so cheap with a half gig card....even Sonyericsson themselves bundle a sandisk mem card as cheaper then their own... !
