my friend has a 6600 and has apps in a zip file named "6600 apps" would these apps work with my 6260 no problems???

If its Symbian and S60, I dont see why not. The title of the zip has nothing to do with it - usually. Dosnt hurt to try. :) Typically, if its an S60 app it will work on S60 phones. Thats just a guideline though ;-)
