Try it at your own risk, who knows what side effects this might have?

The hinge on my phone *1 month old* is near perfect and I've been playing around with it heaps. The battery is nothing to smile about as its only weak. its size is average with 10 cm tall 5 cm thick weighing 130g. You can change the mmc without turning off the phone unlike other phones. Its louder and faster then most series 60's I find. The screen is much clearer and brighter and I also find that the camera is better but only because of the screen the camera is the same as some other 60's phones. It's video camera is ok and looks ok on computer screen aswell. Its work mode is excellent though with you being able to view microsoft word and powerpoint documents and so easy to write emails.
Comes with the latest symbian platform so all apps should work on the phone ;)
Overall its a pretty nice phone with a large enough screen the buttons will take some getting use to but as we all know when we get a new phone we just play and play and play so you should get use to it easily. Overall I find its a good phone for what I need atm and I think it looks alot nicer than most phones aswell :D.

i think you can copy your msg with handy file or a soft like that, it's a kind of "explorer" so you can reach every file you want and so copy, delete, rename all of them.

YIKES! glad i didnt get the 6260 then. my inbox has like 2000 messages [bluetooth messages takes up loadsa space] and i have no phone memory (cos ive put apps there..)
Actually, the beuty of the 6260 being a Symbian phone, such shortcomings can be easily remedied by third part applications. In this case, a free file managmet program called FExplorer. The latest version gives easy access to you Inbox and lets you copy and paste your messages to your MMC.
There are many other apps that can do this, as mentioned in other posts above. Thats why i only get Series 60 (Nokia's Symbian OS) phones as my primary one.
