Well, I was thinking of saving up for an Ipod mini, but I saw the N91, and I actually think it looks alright unlike other people, does anyone have any idea how much it would cost though? In england that is (GBP £).

estimation from what other people are agreeing to (not fact, just hear'say)
n90 £500
n91 £500
n70 £300 (prob 350-400 though)
it would be around that price bracket - give or take

but if you think about it this way, your getting an Ipod Mini, and a smartphone, and a decent res camera for only £500 in a small device, then to me it doesnt seem as much, although ill never have £500 bcoz i have to buy a new toy every so often

Hmm, interesting topic, though contract prices may be very different. If you can be bothered with cashback deals, you can get the 6630 for under £100/year now (phone is free) on Three (which is annoying cos mine was nearly £70 more than that under a month ago from the same place) - yet a simfree Three-locked 6630 would set you back at least £180.

Got mine from O2 online and it was 19.99 on a 20 quid tariff. Bargain.
Branding is limited to a theme and screensaver you can turn off and a shortcut in the Go To option which I never use anyway.
It also works with Orange and T-Mobile sims... although not on 3G but that's probably due to the Orange and TMob contracts rather than the phone... I suspect anyway.
Very pleased.

Yeah, O2 tend not to lock their phones I'm told. Well my Three 6630 has no branding bar the screensaver and theme (and the annoying lock to dual-mode). When I got mine it was £30/month (phone free, 12 month contract) and 8 months of that was £9.99 line rental (now it's fallen to 8 months at 99p!), I also purchased before so I saved a further £30 by referring myself to the site. I got 500 minutes anytime any-net and 100 texts a month, sure Three isn't great but it's good enough for the low price!

Know what you mean. I went back to O2 from Orange.
Orange's customer service (in my experience) was FAR superior to O2 but at the end of the day O2 online are just so much cheaper and you can get 500 free texts.

sounds about right, but a month or two after launch when the stock situation settles down it should be more like
n90 £300
n91 £350
n70 £220
that's based on the way prices of other high-end phones have performed in the past year or so, but again it's a guess

i felt stupid when i bought my phone from cpw on o2, then checked out o2's website where for the same price the contract gave more texts, more minutes and cheaper insurance! lol.
hmm..i think it was because cpw always has phones first, and i wasnt willing to wait, even a week to get it from somewhere else! I got money off the handset though, i said that I spoke to a guy from their head office :D atm everything has worked out at £650, thats phone, contract, insurance.

im not sure it would go down that much in a month. I wouldnt mind if they do. im not that desparate to get the n90 but i know ill be getting it within 2 months of launch.

Cool. Respect to you then. I've always been really impressed.
When I joined Orange i had to take a 35 quid contract to get the 500 texts and with O2 I get the same for 20 quid. Less talktime (which suits me) and also I think I get some free 3g/gprs bandwidth or whatever it's called... god don't you hate it when words desert you!? :-)

when you look at comparable stuff now and in the past, i don't think that's far fetched. remember when the d500 was the coolest new i-must-sell-my-kids-to-get-one phone, now nobody in their right mind will hand over more than £200 for one. same with the v3, the 6680 (now and soon) and any other top-teir device, it loses value quickly cos somebody's always just announced the next big thing

well thats plausable. But really though, if you check out the 6630, its still £349 handset, even with the release of the 6680.

eBay's not really representative. I think his price is the high-street offline price which are always overpriced. For example, street price of a D500 is £279 (I think) whereas online (not eBay) you can find it for £220.
Anyway, you can get contracts which make the 6630 work out to under £200 even as low as £100 sometimes, there's never been a better time to get a 6630. It was a smart move from Three (even though they don't officially carry the handset) because they finally have two very good Nokia smartphones in their range rather than the low-end NECs and mediocre Motorola smartphones.
