Had the phone for a fair while now, i got it when it was very first released.
Anyway, recently the images folder has just got seriously slow, slow to open, slow to view and image and slow going back to thumbnails. Anyone know what is causing this? I have reduced all the images as much as i can on my computer, all files are unver 100kbs, and all placed in the same folder on the MMC. It loads the videos up perfectly.
Anyone know what might be causing it to be so slow? Anyone else had a similar problem?
Cheers

there might be a lot of apps open in phone (but in the background) there might be very less mem left on ur phone (both the phone and mmc)
try restarting ur phone
free about 20 to 30% of ur phone mem, same for ur mmc
and set the call log to 1 day.... it will speed up ur phone considerably...

does the amount of phone memory affect how fast the phone operates? phone memory as in the stuff you can save to not like RAM. (I dont do computer lingo soz if this sounds so faux)

Its not a new thing, its been happening for a while, no app's running in background (assuming just holding the menu button to show whats running?). Phones been off and on several times.
Ill see clearing the logs and setting it to one day, think i tried that already though and there was no effect.

Hey Matt T.. Do you have this muvee application on your phone.. I have this muvee application I get rid of it. And my problem about slow applications has been solved...

Yes i have muvee on there, but the problem isnt a general application one, everything else works fine, just viewing images in the gallery, it takes around 10 seconds just to enter the folder, and when going back to it from an image :(
I can get around it by using a different image browser but its not really solving the problem. Its only on v2.39 firmware anyway, so ill get this updated and see if its any better.
Cheers guys
