your memory card may have become corrupt. (similar symptoms that happened to my card)
If so, the only thing you can do is to buy a new one. (Reformatting the card didnt work for me)
toocool and other 6630 owners will tell you what applications were stored on the mmc.

Depends what firmware you had but if you go to Nokia's main website (http://www.nokia.com/phones/6630) you'll find you can download most, if not all, of the originally installed software. I had nothing of major worth on my card anyway.

@saadan: umm.... why did you restart the phone while it was charging, why didnt you just unplug it first? (Im thinking that maybe the sudden power surge might be culprit why your card was "fried")
cheers!

if taking pictures and saving on memory card, do not keep taking sequencial photos because the memory card is saving and having to save another may overwrite the previous file and ocrrupt the card.
dont keep taking it out (some people do) and putting it back for no reason. When changing cards, place old one in its case.
try to keep the phone away from humid moist conditions.
below is something i found when my first mem card became corrupt. its about cameras but there are still some useful tips.
CAUSES OF MEMORY CARD CORRUPTION<<linked (http://www.digicamhelp.com/how-memory-cards-become-corrupted/index.htm)
Image rescue & recovery (http://www.digicamhelp.com/digital-photo-recovery-and-rescue/index.htm)http://www.digicamhelp.com/how-memory-cards-become-corrupted/corrupted-cards.jpg
Unfortunately, memory cards (http://www.digicamhelp.com/memory-cards/index.htm) can and do become corrupted. Unless the card itself is damaged, the causes of memory card corruption are often due to human error. As preventative medicine, familiarize yourself with some of the main reasons memory cards become corrupted.
Turning off a digital camera before an image is completely written to the memory card.
Removing the memory card from a camera while an image is being written to the card.
Removing the card from a memory card reader (http://www.digicamhelp.com/memory-cards/memory-card-readers.htm) while files are still being transferred to a computer.
Removing the card from a card reader while folders and files from the card are open on a computer.
Opening, deleting, renaming or moving files on the card while its contents are open on a computer.
Using a memory card which has not been formatted in the camera. Use the delete/erase function when needed, however a card should be regularly formatted (make sure there are no images on the card).
Formatting a card in a computer instead of the camera.
Inserting a second memory card into a card reader before closing and removing the first when viewing images on the card from a computer.
Shooting photos when the camera batteries are nearly empty.
Taking one photo after another too rapidly. A camera will not be able to complete writing one image before starting the next.
Continually shooting and deleting, shooting and deleting images when the card is full.
Letting a memory card get too full before downloading the images to a computer or storage device. Cards that are too full may overwrite the card headers.
Using a memory card from one camera in a different camera. If you use a card from another camera, format it in the new camera first.
