Hi there,

Using the defualt theme. When you go to the themes menu and "edit" the default theme, to change the default color in the pallete - does it change?? Mine doesn't.

You think that this is a bug? Or maybe the default theme doesnt support multiple palletes?

:(

This problem was present in the 7610 as well, the only phone i recall that could change the color palette for the default theme was the 6600

N-Gage and 7650 could change the colour scheme but were older Symbian versions...

My 6630 has the same problem (V 4.03.18) but I think it's more to do with the fact that the themes are fixed-colour, but I'm not sure.

Not a bug.
For the 10000th time.
16-bit themes can NOT change the colour palette.
16-bit themes can NOT change the colour palette.
16-bit themes can NOT change the colour palette.
For example, the Series60 theme from 6600 or 7610 CAN change colour palette.
Thank you.

There was a feature in the 6600 aswell which I haven't seen included in any other S60 which should have been - the ability to use a different themes icons, ie use theme A with the icons from theme B. I don't know why they didn't include this after the 6600 because it was a good feature. I have a load of themes I don't use as the icons are really badly drawn

hi omie, so you're saying that you're not using a 16-bit theme? Coz you can change your colors? May I ask what theme you're using.... and possibly, where can I get that?

cheers!

I use the IDEAS theme (singtel) in my phone, have reverted the screen saver, and shuttle between GREY,Blue, Pallette1 and 2.

Will try to find out if i can zip or attach the theme.

Have a good weekend,

cheers,

Think I've done it! Just use the "grind" default nokia theme... it uses all the colors in the pallette. I can now change from blue to grey to green to whatever... I guess the default theme in the 6630/6680 - doesn't support multiple palletes, if only we can extract the default themes of a 6600, that should do it too.

cheers!
