Some headsets can pair with multiple phones. HBH-65, HDW-2, for example.

Most of the time that only works with phones that support the Hands Free profile.

so does that mean a nokia headset can work with a sony eric bluetooth mobile?

ive read on here of a new sony ericsson bluetooth headset comin out with caller display, any idea when that is comin out? and if that can pair with multiple phones?

The HDW-2 will work with non-Nokia phones, yes.

I think the SE headset you are talking about is the HBH-200, which is available in some locations already I think. I'm sure it supports multiple pairings since the older headsets do.

I have used my HBH-20 with the T39m and the T68i,

you see my T39m is my office phone and my T68i is my personnal phone.

I can get calls from any of these phones, but of course not possible if i got a call at the same time...1 call at the time only

i have also used the HBH-20 with the 6310i
