hi there,
how do you change the screensavers (in a 6630) with another one? Where exactly is it stored, how would you delete it if you wanted to? Is it eraseable at all? Can you replace it with an animated gif file?
cheers!
(sorry if that sounded stupid... the manual I have is not in english so I cant understand a word) :o

^bump^
anyone?
does anyone know to delete the screensaver and replace it with an animated gif file?
I'm not sure if that's possible without installing a 3rd party app. You can download a pdf of the instructions from here http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,,69710,00.html

In what language is your instruction manual in? I'm curious :D
some operator branded 6630s come with 2 choices for the screensaver, either the default clock or an animated one with pictures of the operator's logo (LAME! )

It's in french, italian, german, chinese, spanish.... anything but english.
Yup, it has a defualt clock, and that lame op logo/picture, that's why I wanted to know how to either delete it or replace it with a gif or somethin. (the downloaded manual I got - doesnt mention screensaver deletion, mmm...)
cheers!

You have to bring it down to the service centre to get it reflashed with the default 6630 firmware, only then can you get rid of the screensaver :(
