1) SE said it in their press release at the time of announcing K750i and w800
2) it makes perfect commercial sense. W800 can do exactly wad K750i can do , 2 mpx and MP3 and WITH bigger memory , a special colour edition and longer batt life . releasing the w800 early would cannibalise into the K750i sales ( at least to me )

yupe, the clamshell is a nice one given its from Nokia. Z800 still looked alot better than it does. BUT, OMG dat awesome camera is something which deserves being called Cameraphone. S700 truely dies i guess. The reign is over to Nokia for the best imaging phone. Carl Zeis matters greatly for their high quality pics. Wonder wat the hell was SE doing not being able to secure a deadl with Carl Zeis which supports Sony's Cybershots. ..... they could've opt for Leica lenses or others but they chose Carl Zeis .... hhmmm i smell some retaliation effort here.... :D

my house has to hotspots(Access points) so wifi is a welcom edition and has better coverage than 3G. let alone WiFi is free :)

GSM over WiFi? what makes it different to VOIP then? People would opt for VOIP over bi-charges of the so called GSM over WiFi i guess. Anyway, i hope WiFi to gain momentum to give 3G a competitive environment so that they would keep the charges low. By the way, anyone here use laptop PCMCIA 3G cards? Is it handy? i guess WiFi gives a better edge than 3G PCMCIA right? Lastly i hope 3G international roaming can be realized before Q2 of 2006.

wow, when the phone is plugged to the PC using the USB2 cable provided, the phone shows up as a removable drive....you can drag and drop files into the phone. Also the phone charges when plugged to the PC using the USB cable....neat! :)

so lemme get this straight, your PDA is is 100% bug free right? and the computer your using is(most probably) running windows, is also bug free too, right?

every device has bugs, that's why there is something called firmware, which i'm sure your aware of.

the K750 is a great phone, one of the best SE phones since the T610, but it's still lacking in terms of expansion and flexibility....if that's what your lokoing for that is.

oh and the battery is pretty weak, it died on be before completing 24 hours! WTF? :confused:

my 6680 has better battery life when it's running a larger 262k screen and is on 3G network.

the sigal indicator does fluctuate(so did my old S700), but i havent had bad reception or anything.

i must say i'm a bit dissapointed by the loud speaker quality, also the sound of the ear speaker(when your holding it to your ears) doesnt sound all too great either! i went back to the 6680 to check the sound quality, and there is a huge difference! the speaker far more crisp on the 6680.

anyways, im bored of the K750i, so im using the 6680 for now :)

i use the Jabra BT250 and it makes the volume double or triple the loudness! the volume on the set is quiet loud...for me atleast. i always set the volume on the handset to 1 or 2, the rest are quiet loud for my taste.

yeah, but if you convert enough at once you can get wholesale rates which cost you virtually nothing, in percentage terms....

i'll guess it's not possible though, for whatever reason, cos otherwise everyone with a bit of money would be doing it
