I just finished Half-Life 2, other games installed on my notebook: The Sims 2, Tony Hawk Pro Skater Underground 2, Unreal Tournament 2003, Need for Speed Unleashed 2, Swat 4 demo.

Schmucks.... i hadn't get my hands on a PC which have the ultimate performance to play half life two. .. i didnt wanna spoil the the fun with some P3, 512mb, GeForce4 256mb ..... :D

I actually played HL2 on my desktop which is P4 2.4GHz, 512MB ram, 128MB Gefore FX 5200, but it also runs no prob on my notebook.

dats good... my desktop is a P3 733, 512Ram, 256 GeForce4.
My laptop's a 1.5 Centrino, 256RAM and Intel Extreme Graphics<-- which suggests NO Gaming. :D

My notebook is 1.5GHz as well, 256MB ram (which im upgrading to 512) and a 64MB graphics card.

My graphics card is a 64mb (Sharing) ...... Share or doesn't actually doesn't matter much ... its the Intel Extreme dats killing it. .... :D

Check intel's site for compatibility, my notebook runs all the new games really well, its only a 5days old though :)

last game i completed was nfsu2.....had exams after tht.....but now my desktop is gone and all i have is a t30 with a ati radeon mobility 7500 with 16mb of ram wich kind of like sux.....though getting sims 2 n university rite now, its supposed to work on the 7500

im not really into pc gaming, but i do love cs, theres this amazing map called breakfloor- basically a huge wall with a floor that you break and try to tunnel under to th otherside, try it on cs source

if you loved simcity 2000 you would have definately been disapointed by simcity 3000 but with simcity4 (with rush hour) maxis has got it right again, there is a lot you can do, the possibilities a limitless. its definetly worth buying for any simcity fan

yeah it takes a little time to adjust cause you got think and plan the city properly or else nothing will happen, but thats why i love this game cause you got to really think.

??? wuts dat? Anyway, anyone good with Half Life multiplaying? It's such a pity there's no generator for BOTS in Half Life .... I'm actually not a game lover, the games which i reallt got into it were Half Life, CS, Warcraft, Red Alert, Star Craft, Medal of Honor, Gran Turismo 2, Street Fighter..... thats it. :D oh ya, the last football game i played was FiFa 97.

i got sims2 really cool but i hate it that when you marry you got to handle the other sim too, i mean in real life you can influence others not control their life

the only thing i find interesting in it now is the boolprop cheats which is hilarious :D.

nope....i used rosebud in the old sims...its now either kaching (whch gives you 1000 or motherlode/load which gives you 50,000)

the money making cheat made sim building easier, however it made gameplay crap as i had no need to have jobs. . . one of the things i liked was somehow managing to take care of a family on 1500$ ...

But i hate the situation sometimes where the idiot Sims don't even go toilet themselves.... its weird know? They sometimes woke up in the night for a bath or something like that.... its stupid. So i always play with cheat, having a small house with basic stuffs then train them better then spend all my money for buying stuffs and sell them away. Then when i'm short of cash i look for jobs. Did u guys ever torture the Sims? i.e. letting them go upstairs then removing the ladder, removing the swimming pool ladder and see them drown or die. :D

you might have stupid sims because you might not have set the free will on.

torture? OH yes! plenty.

In sims 1

i put set of a firework inside the house . . put plenty of furtniture to ensure things burn.
Put a sim inside an enclosed wall and let them die
Fed them potions that turned them into monsters..
not fed them...not allowed them to sleep
the pool thing..lol

In sims 2 you have so many more options, including the ones you could do in 1st sims.

But with the editing cheats (the ones the E.A. MAXIS use to check the game) its so much better.

you just scroll their needs bar to low, and when you do they go mentally unstable, and a shrink pops up to try to cure you.
You can click their fears over and over this will make them depressed
The combination of the two - in seconds - the sim crawls up and dies!
Theres a grave button where you can choose deaths - death by flies,, starvation, old age, fright etc lolol.

in sims 2 theres no need to "train them" because you just scroll the skills to the right and its full...same with relationships etc. Its easier to get promoted when they have loads of friends this way.

University - sims - is cool too. u can influence other sims to do stupid stuff like have a fight with someone, do ur homework, make ur food, streak lol.

i never enjoyed the sims, i found it boring. have anyone played playboy the mansion? that's a version of the sims with nakedness. it's less advance than the sims as well. MMORPG stands fo Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, like World of Warcraft or Dark Age of Camelot. think diablo that can only be played online.

Why? connection speeds over here are not that fast (and rarely they ran at the promised 512kbps) Internet Cafes allow multiple player gaming. As most (i guess ALL) games sold here were pirated. The only original game i bought was Warcraft III and the Frozen Throne expansion.

Im busy with GTA: San Andreas on the PC, its such an awesome game.

GTA is fun - top three games that have real longevity

1. - Herzog Zwei - MegaDrive/Genesis
2. - Halo 2 - Xbox
3. - Monkey ball 1+2 - Gamecube...

I have neraly every console from the Atari 2600, to the original Neo Geo all they way up to the Xbox....just wish a "real" gaming handheld surfaced...N gage is great specially as have loads of games for it but doesn't cut the gaming mustard...

on the computer side of games: well, aside from those awesome first-person shooters on the PC... I think that there's no worthwhile games to play anymore?

I was looking to play a great RTS game, like what red alert 2, or CnC Generals, or StarCraft was..... but nowadays, there's none. Age of Empires II was awesome... but I think that the genre is dead now.

that's why I'm playing online games when Im in front of my PC. (gunbound, rose online)

i used to love those type of games, buildin armies, rippin apart the other, but its all gotten so predictable and so samey.

Are there any new good innovative ones? There might be some, my cousins usually find them before me, but i just havent had the time to go and check them out.

Well Microsoft is going to release Age of Empires 3 and its looking very good. Also maybe someday Starcraft 2 will see the light.

I loved age of empires when it was first out...then i used the cheats and it really wrecked the game, but how on earth was i sposed to build stone structures when there is no stone left!!!

Star craft, was never really into that, but my cousins were and when i played it it seemed real cool.

I can't even imagine what AE3 will look like, but it better be awesome lol. Been ages since the last release.

(Diablo) it changed the game entirely, more emphasize on micro management of games, battles, it has real good support for short cut keys (vital for experts!) and with their extensive editor supplied, (which creators can add in programming, algorithms, triggers and such) it spawned tons of games with the ditor instantly, u can play red alert on warcraft, diablo on wrcraft, gambling machines on warcraft, fifa on warcraft, even san andreas! theres no limitation to where this game can go, i bet it'll outlast any other games, provided theres some guy/girl really good in editing and creating new games for it~ and the latest best? Defense Of The Ancients !

Its basically the matrix as matchstickmen.
Its old, but addictive.
