What will be the best service provider for k750i in USA? And do you think they will be offering any rebates by August (assuming it comes out by then, which it might not)?

I read here (http://www.mobilecityonline.com/temp_images/please_read.html) that it may not work well with AT&T/Cingular, which would have been my first choice.

Thanks for your time all!

Haha, Cingular your first choice? Bad mistake no matter which phone you choose...jk (which ever service works best for you is the one you should use)

But to answer your question, no, the K750 might not work well with Cingular because it does not have the 850 band. Cingular operates on GSM 850/1900, while the K750 is a tri-band 900/1800/1900 phone. So where Cingular's coverage is 850, you'd have no service with this phone. You can, however, use it on T-Mobile. T-Mobile only uses 1900, so you'd have no problems.

You might be right there Box;
I wonder if SE might release this for the US market similarly to the way the T600 series was released.

It kinda sucks though because I really want this phone and dont want to wait a year for it.

Come to a better place...switch to T-Mobile!

T-Mobile. Far better data plans for all your messaging needs and cheaper voice plans too. It won't have the coverage of Cingular, but you most likely won't be wandering off the major cities and highways.

But if you do, you won't have to pay roaming charges.
