How do you unlock boost mobile I830

I bought this phone right when it came out for $300.00, i got sick of prepaying so i bought a nextel and figured i could just my nextel sim card in the I830! Well i couldnt it asks for a sim code and i was wondering if anybody knows what that code would be! I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.... Thanx

hey i think i got the same phone as you..the roxy nextel boost mobile phone..they told me when i got it that it was unlocked and icould use a nextel sim on it..i was wondeirn gif you found out that special code that you needed to unlock it..

It's weird but a boost handset will not take a nextel sim, but a nextel will take a boost sim. There is software on the market, but very expensive for one handset. Go to your local phone dealer for help.
